Our collection ranges from creamy, fragrance-free bars for sensitive skin, to mineral-rich salt bars, botanical infusions featuring kawakawa, and deeply cleansing charcoal blends. Every recipe is balanced to provide a satisfying wash experience, from firm, long-lasting bars to cushiony bubbles and silky slip.
We use traditional soapmaking methods, allowing time for each bar to cure properly for a harder, longer-lasting finish.
Ingredient Focused
Olive oil for its gentle conditioning qualities. Coconut oil for cleansing and abundant lather. Shea butter for richness. Castor oil for stable, creamy foam. Natural clays for slip and texture. Botanicals like kawakawa and oatmeal for a thoughtful, grounded touch.
Where fragrance is used, we favour essential oils for their natural aromatic profile. Some bars remain fragrance free, simple, creamy, and beautifully understated.

What's the difference between a regular bar soap and a salt bar?
A salt bar has Himalayan salt added to the recipe, which creates a firmer bar with a lightly different, more textured lather compared to a standard bar.
Are Lambellsoap products suitable for sensitive skin?
Several bars and butters are formulated fragrance-free specifically for sensitive skin, including the Country Bar and Natural Body Butter. Scented options use only natural essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance.
How long does a bar of soap last?
With proper drying between uses, a 120g bar typically lasts several weeks of regular use. Letting the bar dry fully on a draining soap dish between washes extends its life considerably.
Are the beard oils fragrance-free?
Yes, both Stubble Trouble and Beard Behaviour are fragrance-free blank canvas bases, so you can add your own essential oils to create a personal scent if you'd like one.
Are Lambellsoap products vegan?
Most are, though a few contain beeswax, like the Bee Dandy Lip Balm, so it's worth checking the ingredients list on each product if that matters to you.
Is Lambellsoap palm oil-free and plastic-free?
Yes. Every product in the Lambellsoap range is 100% palm oil-free and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) free. We use zero plastic in our packaging to protect the New Zealand environment.
What ingredients will I NEVER find in a Lambellsoap product?
We have a strict 'Never' list to protect your skin and the planet. You will never find Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), Palm Oil, or Petroleum products in our soaps.
Why is Lambellsoap 100% Palm Oil-Free?
We believe the environmental cost of traditional palm oil farming, including deforestation and habitat loss, is too high. By remaining 100% palm oil-free, we ensure our soaps support global biodiversity.
Why do you exclude petroleum products from your skincare?
We firmly believe that petroleum-based ingredients have no place on human skin. Instead of using plant-based botanicals and essential oils, petroleum products act as cheap synthetic fillers that offer no real nourishment.
