Returns & Refund Policy

Our Commitment Under New Zealand Law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not meet the guarantees required under New Zealand law, you are entitled to a remedy.

Change-of-Mind Returns (30 Days)

We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it
  • It must be in its original packaging
  • You must provide proof of purchase

To request a return, please contact us at sales@tinyspacegreenz.co.nz before sending the item back.

Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Items sent without prior approval may not be processed.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your item is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged in transit
  • Not as described
  • Incorrect

Contact us promptly at sales@tinyspacegreenz.co.nz so we can assess the issue.

Where a product does not meet the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the nature of the issue, this may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

If the issue is substantial, you may choose a refund or replacement.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Personal Care Products (Soap & Body Butter)

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept change-of-mind returns on opened personal care products.

However, this does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

If you experience an issue with a personal care product, including an adverse reaction, please contact us so we can review and assist appropriately.

Hemp and Consumable Products

Opened consumable products cannot be returned for change of mind.

If a consumable product is faulty or does not meet consumer guarantees, please contact us for assessment.

Equipment and Growing Supplies

Unused equipment (including trays and accessories) may be returned within 30 days under our change-of-mind policy if in original condition and packaging.

Faulty equipment is covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions are not considered faults under the Act.

Sale Items

Sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.

If you would like a different item, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.

Faulty items may be replaced where appropriate.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to complete processing.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval of your refund, please contact us.
