For heavy-feeding or longer-growing crops like peas, sunflower, and wheatgrass, we highly recommend adding an organic-friendly, mild hydroponic nutrient to your bottom-watering reservoir to maximise your yields, boost flavour, and keep your greens vibrant.

The highly absorptive 400g/m² hemp and wool blend quickly wicks up moisture from the bottom, keeping the root zone perfectly hydrated while keeping the top foliage dry to prevent mold.

What do I do with the mats after harvesting my microgreens?

Because they are crafted from 100% natural New Zealand hemp fibers and wool, they are completely biodegradable. Once you cut and harvest your greens, the entire remaining mat and its root network can go straight into your home compost bin or worm farm, creating a genuinely zero-waste system.
